On Monday, April 24, 2017, Viddler will be doing a security platform update.
In order to continue to meet the stringent security requirements for the industry-standard PCI certification, we need to remove compatibility for many legacy security ciphers, which work as a part of the HTTPS/TLS protocols to secure communication between a client and server. We will now only support ciphers that are part of the TLS v1.2 protocol (which has been our only supported HTTPS protocol for over a year.)
This change has the potential to impact some misconfigured browsers and API-based applications, if they or their supporting utilities lack the ECDHE+AESGCM cipher suite that are required by TLS v1.2
