Some of the latest browsers — namely, Safari and Chrome — may implement features to save battery life when loading/watching videos. This may inhibit a flawless experience for viewers. Typically, this is only seen for video playback using the Flash Player technology (only runs on desktop computers). Here are some tips to keep the video experience as best as possible.
- Upgrade your player embeds to Arpeggio - Our new HTML5 player, named "Arpeggio", does not require Flash Player for video playback. This player will provide the best possible experience across most devices and browsers. You can update your default player to Arpeggio in your Player Setup.
- Install the latest version of your browser - These days, many browsers auto-update. But sometimes they need to be restarted for the update to complete.
- Install the latest version of Flash Player - This can be done from Adobe's website: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer (Note: the Google Chrome browser always has the latest version of the Flash Player plugin running)
- Disable battery-saving feature(s) - This is different in each browser:
